Licensed clinical social worker in practice since 2011. He works with a wide range of people, from late adolescents to older adults, and with a wide range of problems and issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relational conflict and loss.
Jake’s orientation to therapy is informed by object relations, self psychological and contemporary relational therapy. He works in an open and collaborative atmosphere that enables patients to increase their awareness of the underlying patterns that determine their experience of themselves and their relationships, and in doing so, to experience healing, growth and greater fulfillment in their lives.
Jake holds graduate degrees in English from the University of Connecticut and in social work from the University at Albany
